Uoma- wooden lamp
The organic shapes of the lamp reflect the diversity of Finnish nature: fell streams hollowed out by water, gorges shaped by the ice age or wave-like deposits formed on the surface of the rocks. The shape of the lamp is simple, but it brings alive the rhythm of the day, playing with lights and shadows.
The lamp is handcrafted in our workshop in Turenki Finland. More than 140 wooden parts have been glued into a lampshade, which is made of highest quality Finnish birch plywood. The metal lamp holder and fabric cord are made in Great Britain, and the metal ceiling cup is handmade in Estonia. The lamp comes with a dimmable bulb whose color temperature is pure white.
- Choose the size: Medium (diameter 44 cm) or Large (diameter 54 cm)
- Choose the color of the cord and ceiling cup: White or Black

We are a group of three entrepreneurs. Our passion is to create touching interior products from natural materials. We are all three visualists, and we enjoy doing crafts. We all participate in product design, assembly, and other day-to-day work. In addition, we have the following adaptive responsibilities: Anna as a textile designer is responsible for visual marketing and Papurino’s visual art. Kaarlo is responsible for the production side with the experience of a woodwork teacher. Olli has a degree in international business and is responsible for sales and marketing.
Maps are a shared passion for Olli and Kaarlo. Together, they design and produce new city maps. Creating a new city map is always a challenge. Not only it should express the target city as well as possible, but the map should also be visually balanced and feasible when cut on plywood.
Have a great time in our shop!
