Papurino was born from the idea that places matter.
Not only on a map, but in our memories. Moments experienced in nature often remain invisible, even though they are the ones we long to return to. We wanted to give them a form.

We create maps and home goods from Finnish birch plywood in our workshop in Finland. Each piece passes through our hands from beginning to end; from an idea into a finished, functional object or a striking piece of wall art.

We work on a small scale, together. It shows in the way we create: calmly, carefully, and with deep respect for the material. Every map is slightly different, just like the places they represent.

For many, a Papurino map is a way to mark journeys taken, national parks visited, or places they still dream of returning to. It can also be a portrait of one’s hometown, a place of roots and deepest memories. A map is not just something on the wall, but a part of a person’s life story.

Papurino has grown gradually, shaped by customers, travels, and the passing years. Today, our maps can be found in many homes where nature plays an important role in everyday life.

We opened our online store in 2017, and today our collection includes map artworks of over 400 cities, along with a wide range of other interior and gift products.

Papurino exists to help people feel connected to their roots, identity, and nature.
